Free Admission To The Indiana State Police Museum
The Indiana State Police Museum is a free museum that houses police cars and other memorabilia from different eras in Indiana State Police history. They do also offer a fingerprint station in which children can take their own fingerprints or those of a friend and learn about different fingerprint styles.

Is The Museum A Astc Passport Participant
Members of the ASTC Passport Program are eligible for free general admission to museums located more than 90 miles from their affiliated museum. Members may receive free admission for the number of people designated by their corresponding membership level. You will need to present your membership card at the box office to gain admission.

Seattle Japanese Garden1075 Lake Washington Boulevard East, Seattle
The Japanese Garden is a 3.5-acre urban oasis within the Lake Washington Arboretum. It is typically open beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday. The usual admission charge is $8 for adults, $4 for seniors and kids 6-17 free for kids 5 and under. Admission will be free the first Thursday of each month.
A new exhibit, Garden Images, by Seattle artist Stephen Okawa, will be on display in the Tateuchi Community Room. Inspired by Okawas love of nature, Japanese art and gardens, the exhibit was created in 2020 in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Garden. The series is printed on handmade paper from Nepal and mounted as triptychs on birch boxes.

The galleries of this museum of the Asian-Pacific American experience has a wonderful permanent display called Honoring our Journey, which is packed with stories and artifacts. Theres also a variety of temporary exhibits. The museum also offers neighborhood tours and other programs.

This gallery on the UW Campus is devoted to contemporary art in all its surprising variety. It is currently open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday only, and admission is free through Oct. 1, 2021. Last admission 4:30 p.m. tickets by walk-up only no online ticketing.

Free Entry Thursday Afternoon
First and foremost, on Thursday entry is free as of 4pm and the museum is open until 8pm . You will have access to all exhibits, permanent and special, free of charge. However the IMAX theatre is extra and costs $9 to see a movie. Didn’t really feel like a “history” museum because the permanent exhibits concern culture more than anything else. The First Peoples exhibits were nonetheless impressive with the great number of totem poles, collections of objects and interesting stories. The special exhibits were more history orientated with Canadian Confederation, the Canada Stamp Collection and the Empress of Ireland. The last one I really enjoyed and you should check it out. I also saw the Galapagos 3D movie, and it did seem a bit much to pay $9 to see a 30 minute movie. Although cinematographically it was impeccable. Parking is available, but does not come cheap. Ended up paying $12.50 for 4 hours. Good museum, could use a little more history but is still worth the visit, especially on Thursday.

Thoughts On When To Visit Museums In Ottawa For Free
We went last week on Thursday to aviation museum and Kids museum, the kids had lots of fun. We even checked quickly the medevial and Franklin rooms expositions. For both first places the entrances were free and know they enjoyed it. By the time we checked quickly the expositions rooms, kids didnt have much interest and were tired. For my three year old toddler running around one hour was enough to take a look at the aviation museum. For my two older kids 6 & 9 they wanted to know a little more and we rushed on some parts but we plan on coming back on another time. In the past we have gone twice to nature museum and the kids loved it there. My boy enjoyed above all the room with the dinosaurs replicates. So for small kids the kids museum and nature museum will be something to recommend.
Dimenna Children’s History Museum
Admission at the DiMenna Children’s History Museum is pay-what-you-wish on Friday evenings. Located on the lower level of the New-York Historical Society, the children’s museum explores the history of New York through the stories of children who have lived here and offers interactive exhibits, games, and displays that present New York’s history in an engaging and interesting way.

Timed Entry With No Fixed End Time
We have moved to timed-entry admission with no fixed end time. That means you can choose your start time and play for longer periods. Online reservations are recommended, but visitors can now explore the Museum from entry until closing. To ensure visitor safety, we will continue to limit the number of visitors in the Museum at any given time. Walk-ups are welcome if capacity has not been reached.

Veterans Day Free Admission
On Veterans Day, we are pleased to offer all veterans and active-duty military personnel free admission to MCM all day. If the active-duty family member is currently deployed, the free admission can be enjoyed by another family member.
When Veterans Day falls on a day when the museum is closed, free admission will be available on the next open day.
