If you have previously reserved a museum pass, you must wait 90 days before you can reserve another pass for the same museum.
Reserved, but unused, passes are considered checked out. Unused passes apply to this 90 day wait period.

They include the Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments, the Harvard Museum of Natural History , the Harvard Semitic Museum, and the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology, all located between Oxford St./Divinity Ave area. Of particular note are the famous glass flowers, models commissioned by Harvard in 1886 to aid in the teaching of botany , on display in the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
Each coupon admits up to 4 visitors to either the Harvard Museum of Natural History or the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology. Each visitor pays $6 per person co-payment at the Museum.

Connecticuts grant-funded Summer at the Museum program has returned for 2022. This program allows kids to visit museums for free all summer with one paid adult admission, without needing to check out a library pass or become a museum member. John Hay Estate At The Fells

The Fells, originally the summer home of 20th century American statesman John Milton Hay, is an 83.5 acre estate with a 22-colonial Revival home, extensive formal and informal gardens, and trails overlooking Lake Sunapee. The property, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, includes land and buildings originally part of the John Hay National Wildlife Refuge, created in 1987 for migratory bird conservation. Guided and self-guided tours of the garden and house, which include history and ecology exhibits and an art gallery, are availablecheck the website before going. A souvenir shop is on the premises.
This pass admits up to 2 adults and accompanying children under the age of 18 to the Fells Main House, grounds, and art exhibits free of charge. Special classes, activities, and the Designer Showcase may require an additional fee. This pass need not be returned.

This new service means free admission to everything that DISCOVERY has to offer, including the new, first-of-its-kind DISCOVERY Lab, complete with a laser cutter and 3D printer.

An active KCLS library card is required to reserve a museum pass. Your account must have under $25 of fines, not be expired, or have any other blocks on it . Please contact library staff if your account is not working.

The House Of Seven Gables

The House of the Seven Gables, one of the oldest surviving timber-framed mansion houses in continental North America, was the setting of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s famous 1851 novel of the same name. The historic site which includes the house includes a guided tour of the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion and visits to the Nathaniel Hawthorne Birthplace, the Colonial Revival seaside gardens, and the Counting House, with a maritime discovery zone called Kids’ Cove at The Gables. Lectures and seasonal living history labs are scheduled throughout the year, and a changing annual exhibition examines various aspects of the institution’s 350 years of history. There is a gift shop on the premises. The website has virtual field trips and interactive exhibitions that can provide helpful background information before a visit.
The building that houses the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston on Fan Pier is the first in the US designed by the architectural firm of Diller Scofidio + Renfro. The museum was founded in 1936 as a sister institution to New Yorks MoMA, though it had no permanent collection until starting one after moving into the new building on the waterfront in 2006. In addition to the collection, changing exhibitions, music, dance, film, talks, tours, family activities, and teen programming are offered throughout the year.
