Rachel And Kevins American Swedish Historical Museum Wedding

Talk about amazing places in Philadelphia for a wedding! The American Swedish Historical museum wedding destination is perfect. Rachel and Kevins wedding there was in October. And the backdrop this time of year was stunning. There was still bright green on the trees but also some orange and yellow foliage mixed in. Portraits across the open grass by the water proved iconic and downright epic!

The whole day went off without a hitch. We started with everyone getting ready at the Loews Hotel. This was a great place for their first look too, with the well-known cityscape right there out the window. From there, we headed over to the Museum wedding spot for portraits, ceremony, and beautiful tented reception. Thank you to Jeffrey Miller Catering for the awesome decor, great vibes, and DELISH food.

Mediterranean Wedding At The American Swedish Historical Museum

Cristina and Caseys love for travel and their hometown inspired the canny details of their wedding. From the city place cards to the olive oil favors and food, this day was inspired by the Mediterranean. With a color palette drawn from the colors of the sun and sea, rich and vibrant hues show all throughout the decor. The florals designed by Vault + Vine feature spicy reds, bright yellows, and ocean blues, which set the mood for the unified day. The American Swedish Historical Museum, located in South Philadelphia, was the perfect backdrop to preserve their love. This couples story and inspiration are just as good as the pictures perfectly captured by Brae Howard Photography. So keep scrolling because youre guaranteed to fall in love with every single photograph!

    Christen + Brian \\ Wedding

American Swedish Historical Museum wedding :: Jena and David

My last wedding for a few months went out with a bang ) Presenting Christen and Brians American Swedish Historical Museum wedding!

    First look time!

Christen was SUCH A TROOPER and walked so far in her heels to make these next photos happen. Worth it.

GUYS Christens mom made the flower girls dress. I cant. ITS SO CUTE.

Placing Grandpa as bait is always a good bet 🙂

If you follow me on , youll know that I had to leave Christen and Brians wedding because the top of this champagne bottle cut my leg enough that I couldnt stay. Aka a photographers WORST NIGHTMARE.

Christen didnt know I was injured at this point, so dont read her joyful face as sadistic 🙂 She was just happy to be married!!

My assistant drove me home where Kealan stitched me up . Luckily, I had THE BEST possible team already on-site, and another friend and regular second shooter rushed to the scene to make sure Christen and Brian had coverage! I owe SO MUCH to Bridget and Lauren these photos are theirs, and they did such a phenomenal job.

Kealan was a speedy surgeon and I got to come back for the final hour of the party 🙂

Christen and Brian, thank you for being SO GRACIOUS when I had to leave your special day. People like you make my job a joy. Everyone else, if you want some behind-the-scenes photos of Kealan being my personal doctor, check out the highlights of my insta-stories )

    ASHM Gift Shop Tour 2021

Kate and Bens wedding will forever hold a special place in my heart. Their day began at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Philadelphia. They spent the early afternoon getting ready with their family and friends, sharing gifts and champagne, and ended with a surprise visit to Grandmom in her hotel room before heading out for portraits.

Philadelphia has plenty to offer in terms of portrait locations and it was so nice to be able to travel around with such a fun bridal party and take advantage of so many beautiful locations. From the grounds of the Second Bank, to Washington Square, and finally FDR park and the American Swedish Historical Museum, this crew rocked them all.

Its not news to anyone that I can be quite emotional. Its already an honor to be present on someones wedding day knowing Im giving them images of moments they will relive forever, but truly connecting with my couples makes it that much more special to me and its that connection and level of comfort that allows magic to happen. I know I might sound like a broken record but I LOVE MY JOB.

    Picture time!

American Swedish Historical Museum Wedding : : Jena And David

    Uncategorized

Jena and David got married at American Swedish Historical museum in South Philadelphia. They had a lovely ceremony at the museum followed by an outdoor garden cocktail hour and a tented reception catered by Jeffrey Miller. Jena and David looked so happy and in love with each other all day and they were a joy to photograph. I fun moment happened early during their day when they needed to take the same shuttle to their venue but didnt want to see each other before their first look. David simply put a paper bag over his head and let the flower girls to guide him outside of their hotel to the shuttle! I loved his easy-going and relaxed attitude so much! Their sparkler send off was a perfect ending to their beautiful celebration.
