Myrtle Beach, South Carolina welcomes the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center to the beach. The exhibit, which took over the former NASCAR Cafe location, opened in June 2014 and features three fun-filled entertainment areas including a wax museum, zombie thrill area and a mirror maze.
The main attraction, Hollywood Wax Museum, is home to life-like wax celebrities that make for fun photo opps and gives you a chance to get up close and personal with your favorite stars. Explore with fun props and interactive games. You never know just who youre going to bump into!
Hannahs Maze of Mirrors will take visitors through a winding labyrinth to resucue Princess Hannah of Savannah. Along your journey youll spot the King and Queen as well as the Wizard. Find out if youre the chosen one along your journey to save the princess.
Outbreak Dread the Undead includes a tour through an old lab thats been taken over by zombies. Your job is to clean up and get out while making your way through the morgue and basement. Make your way through if you dare.
Tickets can be purchased for each attraction or may be purchased in combo packs. The cost is $23.95 for all three for adults and $11.95 for children ages 4 to 11. Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center is located at 1808 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach, directly across the street from Broadway at the Beach.

Finding the Hollywood Wax Museum in Myrtle Beach is really easy, even if youre not a local. The museum is located near Broadway-at-the-Beach which has other top attractions like Ripleys Aquarium and the Hard Rock Cafe. If you dont plan to visit any of those attractions, the museum is relatively close to the only Costco at the beach and the Coastal Grand Mall.
Things to do Inside the Hollywood Wax Museum
If you have never been to a wax museum before and are visiting for the first time, you will have a blast. Inside the wax museum, you can basically do anything you want other than touch the wax figures. You can pose with them, make silly faces with them, and dress up in funny props and pretend youre acting a scene with them.
Though the actual wax museum only takes about 1-2 hours to get through, even with all the posing, its an unforgettable experience.
And, the wax figures look so incredibly real, that the pictures you take literally look like youre actually with the real celebrity! Just take a look at this photo of my son with Ben Stiller.

Here is your chance to be a hero when you save Princess Hannah who has been taken from her parents, the King and Queen. But first, you have to find your way through the maze of mirrors. Just when you think you are going the right way, you are not!
Dont skip the Mirror Maze. The children love it! There are a few surprises like a glass floor to cross, a kaleidoscope chamber, a spinning floor, and infinite reflections. . Be prepared to take memorable pictures, especially in the kaleidoscope chamber.
