The Arkansas Museum of Natural History is a fantastic place to visit for a day. You can see all of the activities going on here, as well as any upcoming talks. The buses run from the lot to the Ark on a regular basis. A visit to the Ark takes only 1/2 day in the museum, but it can be seen in half that time. Dont miss the buffet at the restaurant immediately behind the Ark and the planetarium at the museum.

There are a lot of bad hotel reviews for near the Creation Museum. Is there a good recommendation for a hotel near there. We are traveling with four children, ages 16, 13, 9 and one, and Grandma. We will need two rooms.

I have stayed in The Country Inn and Suites, which is listed as being in Hebron, it is clean and would be reasonable choice. At the same exit there is a Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn, the only downside with this exit there are no eating choices, you would have to drive to another exit for restaurants. I think they offer museum packages.

Comfort or Hampton Inn at the same exit are some other choices. If you donât mind driving a few extra miles check out Wingate in Erlanger, new hotel and very nice. I have also stayed at La Quinta and Springhill Suites in Florence which are closest to restaurants. Of those I mentioned, they sometimes have very good rates on expedia. They are nonrefundable so you must be sure of your dates and decision. I would not hesitate staying at any of the ones I mentioned.

The Ark Encounter is one of the most unique attractions in the area. The story of Noahs Ark can be told in the parks attraction. You wouldnt expect the ark to be so large. You can rent a scooter or wheel chair after leaving the shuttle bus if you cant walk very far. The painting, like the rest of the piece, is clean, but it must be seen on rare occasions. Aside from these attractions, there are numerous others within driving distance. The Creation Museum is about an hour away from the Ark Encounters. The museum has been designed to tell the story of Christianity. The Cincinnati Zoo is a separate attraction. The zoo is a collection of animals from all over the world.
