    NASA is planning its first human trip to Mars in the 2030s, but your children dont have to wait that long. They can launch into a planetary adventure this summer with the MOSTs Mission to Mars camp.

    These astronauts-in-training will explore current and past NASA projects to inspire their natural curiosity. Campers will complete an astronaut training obstacle course, design a Mars lander, get engrossed in the stars during a planetarium show, and experience a taste of what its like to live in space.

    Theyll also have plenty of time to explore the museum and much more.

    We are offering two one-week sessions this year:

    Most Is Hosting Two Camps That Focus On Science Technology Engineering And Math

    Do you know a student who would appreciate attending a science camp this summer? The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology is offering two options this year, one that is out of this world and another that focuses on bits. Both include plenty of time interacting with the MOSTs other science exhibits.

    Mission to Mars camps run July 18 to 22 for children 7 to 10 and Aug. 8 to 12 for children 11 to 14. Cost is $250 per child for members, and $280 for nonmembers. Get all the details on our website .

    Weeklong Codemania camps, which is for children ages 8 through 12, will run every week in August, for a total of five weeks. The cost is $380 per week. Contact Codemania for more information or visit their website to sign up.

    The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology is a science and technology museum located in the Armory Square neighborhood of DowntownSyracuse, New York. The Museum includes 35,000 square feet of permanent and traveling exhibits, Science Shop, and several programs and events. The MOST is located in the former Syracuse Armory.

Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology in Syracuse, New York has selected D3D to provide a generational transformation of MOSTs Giant Dome theater with the installation of a stunning second generation laser-illuminated, ultra high-resolution Laser CineDome projection system. The theater is scheduled to reopen in February, 2022 after a complete renovation, including new seating, flooring, lighting and an impressive new NanoSeam dome surface.

    Where It All Began

    The MOST began in a small storefront in downtown Syracuse in 1981. It was originally called The Discovery Center of Science. As the first hands-on science museum in upstate New York, its popularity skyrocketed. So, in 1992, the museum relocated to the former Syracuse Armory and was renamed the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology.

    Today, they operate 35,000 square feet of exhibit space. They are also home to the only domed IMAX® theater in New York State, and you can see movies there Wednesday through Sunday. Theres also the Silverman Planetarium, where a variety of guided presentations are offered Wednesday through Sunday.
