Do Yourself A Favor And Go Fridays Or Saturdays When You Can

Do yourself a favor and go Fridays or Saturdays when you can get tickets for the Songwriters Sessions for the same price as admission to Country Music Hall of Fame. It includes admission to Museum and admission to Songwriters session. I enjoyed the songwriter they featured when I was there and while they are not stars or not stars yet it’s worth checking out. The museum is a great mix trying to give play to everyone’s favorite but sadly never enough of your favorite. The cost to seeing this wasn’t bad but parking was outragous.

    What I Thought

As a country music fan, this is 100% a must do in Nashville. And really I would say its probably worth planning a trip to Nashville just to see it.

Its large in scope, but not overwhelming. Its designed and laid out in a very linear way so you never feel unsure about where to turn next or get tired or lose interest.

Because the subject matter of this museum is music , I think it adds a lot of emotion and nostalgia to the experience.

Also, a very very good gift shop.

The Country Music Hall Of Fame And Museum In Nashville Tennessee

Were not huge country music fans, but while in Nashville this summer, we figured it was only appropriate to listen to what the locals listen to and blend in with the crowd. Theres no better place to listen to, and learn about, country music than the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Its located in downtown Nashville, close to many area attractions.

I was uncertain if my children would be engaged throughout our self guided tour . I was so pleasantly surprised at how child friendly the museum is! There is plenty to see and do, even for younger, non-country loving kids. We spent over two hours inside the museum and could have stayed longer had we not had another reservation.

    Traveling with Children:

Fifteen Things Kids Must Do in the Museum:

    1. Start on the third floor at the Taylor Swift Education Center. Add your own lyrics to the What If I story and pick up a scavenger hunt . Submit it before you leave for a special memento of your visit . Each week there is a different themed craft to complete.

    2. Pick a favorite ensemble out of the hundreds of musicians performance outfits and costumes. We especially liked all the sparkle of Shania Twains Rock this Country display.

    3. Check out two convertibles: Webb Pierces Silver Dollar and Elvis Presleys Solid Gold convertible from the early 1960s. Pierces convertible is outfitted with pistols as door handles.
