Titanic Museum Pigeon Forge Review
When our family visited Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee for spring break last month – I knew that the Titanic Museum would absolutely be on our list to visit. My 17 year old was especially excited to visit the attraction, which calls itself the world’s largest museum attraction. My 13 year old was looking forward to joining us too. We ultimately decided that my husband would take our 5 year old on go-karts and play arcade games elsewhere, so that the big kids could fully enjoy the experience of the tour and we could take our time. We were all really happy with our decision. It was a nice stress-free stroll through the quiet museum and we could read what we wanted and look at we wanted without feeling rushed. The museum was located just a five minute drive from our cabin and close to all the other attractions in Pigeon Forge. We did not have enough time during our last trip to enjoy this experience.
During the last thirty minutes of our tour, we were brought to a more open space to tour some special artifacts that were “on tour” and a man was playing the piano. We were able to snag some photos of china, one of the violins played that night, some sheet music, among other things.
There were also several rooms where staff were playing roles from the ship – a captain, nun and more. They helped the experience become even more immersed.

Is The Titanic Museum In Pigeon Forge Worth It
Worth is always in the eye of the beholder, but climbing aboard the Titanic is likely to be an experience you wont regret.
Its worth it alone to see the detail that you will find throughout this attraction. The museum is inextricably linked to the blockbuster movie, though not affiliated in the least.
Its hard to imagine that even with Titanics historic legacy the museum would exist without the movie.
As such, the grand staircase which was such a central part of the movie is also the central part of the museum, serving as a perfect replica.
But to limit the appreciation of the museum to those who wish for a King-of-the-World moment, is to dismiss the history nerd that exists in so many of us.
The displays, some of which are rotating, are diverting and informative.
The rooms, exact replicas of Titanics quarters, are akin to touring Versailles, Napoleon IIIs quarters in the Louvre or the tours at Biltmore.

Dont Miss The Sinking Ship
It was a fabulous adventure. I felt like I was living through history. We spent four hours there and couldve spent another hour. Clean organized with friendly and knowledgeable personnel
Weve been to a large Titanic display in Las Vegas, so we were curious to check this one out. It had a lot of interesting artifacts and information. It was perfect for a rainy morning. Glad we got there early by the time we left there was a huge line waiting to be admitted. Go early!
This place was very well laid out and fun to go through. It contains a lot of actual items from the Titanic and is way better than other Titanic exhibits I’ve been to. My wife and I spent about 2 hours in here.
Very well done museum. Beautiful place. The audio presentation is self guided with a personal speaker for each person, which you start and stop at your leisure. Highly recommended.
This attraction is wonderful from start to finish. Beautiful décor and the staff is devoted to making your experience a great one. My kids enjoyed holding their card and finding more about the person they were playing. I dont think its probably a great place for little kids, just not a lot to keep them busy.
How Long Does It Take To Go Through The Titanic Museum In Pigeon Forge
This isnt necessarily an entire day type of attraction. But Id say it could at least be a half-day attraction if you stretch it out.
This also depends on what type of vacationer you are. I like to stretch my dollar and take my time. At the very least, I would say plan to spend 2-3 hours here.
Anything short of that, and you may not be getting your moneys worth.
