Great For Young Children

Children’s Museum of Sonoma County – Aquascape Project Showcase

Took my 2.5 year old granddaughter to the museum on a Friday morning. Arrived promptly when it opened at 10 and lasted about 2.5 hours . This place was awesome for her. She loved all the hands on things to do – especially the water fun for 4 and under. There was a room upstairs especially designed for younger children . Yes, as the day progressed, it did get more crowded, and there were a few field trip kids present, but it was all very workable. If you have small children, the Childrens Discovery Museum should not be missed.

Frequently Asked Questions And Answers

What are people saying about children’s museums in Santa Rosa, CA?

This is a review for children’s museums in Santa Rosa, CA:

“This place is a winner in my book. There are endless things to do here. And thank goodness because there didn’t seem like much for kids in Sonoma in general. We visited on a Sunday morning and it was PACKED. Seemed like everybody and their mama was there. Luckily the museum has two floors and a giant outdoor place area complete with gardening, air crafts, grocery store play, a man made creek…the list goes on.By the time it was 2pm the crowds had dissolved and there was finally breathing room but by then the kiddos were exhausted. I’d come here again though simply because us adults had a blast too. Something for everyone here!”
