I had wanted to visit the Art Institute of Chicago, but it is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday. I selected the CMCA and was glad that I did.There was an wide range of art on display, some of which I truly enjoyed and some was not interesting. An art museum, of course, should show a range as it did. For the size of the facility, however, they could have displayed more art.The staff were very friendly and they knew the museum well. Visit the 2-story museum store. I has some interesting items with a mix of fun items, It was easy to tell that the store staff loved working there.

My first ever terrible review. Just a waste of time. Went on the GoCity Pass so I guess It didnt hurt too much but if you are wanting to see actual art take a hard pass. It was probably a good museum a few years ago before whatever it is now but they are certainly not interested in art. Sorry to say because we were looking forward to it.
