The grounds are so peaceful and tranquil, it’s worth taking time to explore the orchard and herb gardens too.

As the only remaining vestige of New York City’s agricultural past, Queens County Farm Museum offers kids an chance to learn about the processes of farm production, and how products move from soil to table.

Other key elements of the farm’s interpretation include their barns and outbuildings and even honey bee hives, plus they have a broad range of educational programs for children and adults, AND a variety of annual special events plus weekend visitor tours too.
