The Oscar Mike Compound
The Oscar Mike Compound is a 9,000 sq. ft. facility located on a 210-acre lake just east of Rockford, IL. It is a fully accessible home with 17 beds, an adaptive weight-training room, and outdoor sports court. The Compound serves as our home base for the ONLY all-Veteran wheelchair rugby team the Oscar Mike Militia. It is also the location for our weekly programming. Each week, from March through October, the Oscar Mike Compound plays host to numerous injured Veterans as they participate in no less than 9 rigorous, heart pumping activities, adapted to their capabilities. The sole purpose of the programming week is to show them there are no limits to what they can do!

The Iwo Jima Museum provides thousands of visitors each year the opportunity to learn more about the Battle of Iwo Jima and other World War II history through an extensive and inspiring collection of souvenirs, photographs, and memorabilia.
Our museum contains hundreds of rare artifacts from the battle of Iwo Jima including weapons, uniforms, photos, maps, and much more.
While there is no charge for museum admission, donations are appreciated in order to help sustain this volunteer-led initiative.

The National Museum of the Marine Corps is the historical museum of the United States Marine Corps. Located in Triangle, Virginia near MCB Quantico, the museum opened on November 10, 2006, and is now one of the top tourist attractions in the state, drawing over 500,000 people annually.
In July 2013, the museum announced plans for a major expansion, to include sections on more modern Marine Corps history, such as the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing, a combat art gallery, and a Global War on Terrorism gallery.

Three lines of personalized text allow you to list your name, the name of a WWII veteran or civilian, a military unit, squadron, ship, or branch of the armed forces active during the war. These grandparents, parents, children, friends, and other inspirational leaders and organizations overcame a once-in-a-generation challenge, and they deserve a memorial that will last for generations to come.
