Wedding At The Baltimore Museum Of Industry
We started the day with some getting ready photos at Theresas house, then we were off to beautiful St. Ignatius for the ceremony. After they walked down the aisle, we headed to Mt. Vernon square with some portraits in the shadow of the first Washington Monument .
The reception was held at the Museum of Industry, which occupies a beautiful piece of real estate overlooking the Baltimore harbor, a view which the guests fully enjoyed during the cocktail hour. At twilight settled in, we shot some portraits in front of the iconic Dominos sugar sign.

Ahh this day was amazing! Ive actually wanted to photograph at a wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry for such a long time, and Im so grateful that my first wedding here was for Lindsay & Brad! They are a completely down to earth couple and this group had SO. MUCH. FUN!! Not only that, but it was a huge bonus to get to see lots of familiar faces there too . Maryland gave us a little rain throughout the day, but one of the best things was Lindsay telling me that she had been getting nervous, but read Mollys tips for a rainy day bride, and felt much more at ease with it all! AH major chills! Love my couples helping other couples! And after all that, the rain cleared up later in the day and we were able to take tons of portraits outside, and around all the cool spaces in the museum. The dance floor was packed and full of energy, and I loved seeing what a good time these two had!! Congratulations Lindsay & Brad, it was such an honor to get to document your day!!

The Baltimore Museum of Industry was once the site of an 1860s oyster cannery and continues to this day to celebrate Marylands industrial legacy through this five-acre waterfront venue. Any of the Inner Harbor hotels are close to the venue so it would depend on your price range. The closest would be the Ritz and the Intercontential but they cost a little more.

Baltimore has an incredibly storied past, and I love coming here to shoot weddings. This wedding was no different!
Jen and Eric are two truly amazing people. So amazing, that on one of their very first dates, they didnt just go to dinner, then went out and helped people in need in downtown Baltimore. They just have the charitable hearts and it made me feel real joy knowing that I would get to be there to capture their big day!
Both got ready at the Inner Harbor Hyatt Regency. I love the pictures I got of Jen and her parents, Al and Donna at the hotel when Donna helped her get ready before doing a first look with her father. It was incredibly touching. Then it was off to the Baltimore Museum of Industry for the ceremony and reception.
The Baltimore Museum of Industry is all about celebrating Marylands industrial legacy. It holds the history of innovation that Baltimore is known for. Its an amazing museum that helps you get down to the meat and potatoes of who really built Baltimore and the care that went into crafting such an amazing city.
The Baltimore Museum of Industry was such a neat venue to hold this wedding. The place really gives you that feel of old Baltimore when youre inside, and serves as a great reminder of the people that built this country. It also serves as a gorgeous venue to host a wedding!

Indoor Outdoor Or A Bit Of Both
Located on 5-acres of waterfront property, the views outside are even more spectacular than inside. Youâll be able to take in the whole Inner Harbor from the brick terrace just outside the museum. You can even choose to have your ceremony here, with the harbor in view.
âWeâve had couples embrace all of the color and quirk that the BMI has to offer,â says Breanna. âAnd others focus more on the water views and city lights, essentially having a waterfront barn wedding in the farmerâs market pavilion. Itâs one of the most quintessential Baltimore locations you could choose â and the couples we always get there are the best!â
One couple that took advantage of the âcolor and quirkâ that Breanna mentioned was Jen and Paul. These two let the exhibits shine at their museum wedding. They took pictures all over, like in the âmovie theaterâ and in front of the 1906 Steam Tug Baltimore permanently moored n the harbor.

Baltimore Museum Of Industry Wedding
The Baltimore Museum of Industry wedding was the perfect wedding venue for Alex+James! The girls were ready to rock, as they prepped in their waterfront suite at the Sagamore Pendry Hotel in Fells Point and they were a fun crew to hang out with while getting ready! Makeup by Farren and Hair by Linsay glammed up these already gorgeous babes! Before Alex slipped into her Pronovias wedding gown, she had a few special moments with her sister, girlfriends and her mom. The Sagamore Pendry’s gorgeous courtyard served as a perfect backdrop for bridal portraits, as we immersed ourselves in the lushness of the greenery. At the same time, the guys were imbibing from flasks and flamingos, before rounding up Bird’s & Lime’s to scoot from one side of town to the other. At the Baltimore Museum of Industry, guests got their share of pre-ceremony popcorn and White Claws, before the wedding ceremony began. James father officiated the ceremony, and more than one tear was shed as the couple read their own vows to one another. Then it was time for the party to start with a cocktail hour allowing guests to wander through the museum exhibits. Chefs Expressions put out an amazing spread of delicious foodage at stations throughout. Jason from District Remix pumped out the tunes, and the dance floor was on FIRE! Good thing there were make-your-own snowballs to cool everyone off!
