Museum Of Sex Tickets And Hours Of Operation
The Museum of Sex is open every day of the week with varying hours. From Monday to Thursday, its open from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. On Fridays, its open from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Saturdays hours are 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM and Sundays are 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. For days that close at 10:00 PM, the last entry is at 8:40 PM while 12:00 AM closers have their last entry at 10:00 PM.
Visitors have to be 18 or older to enter the museum and theres no discount pricing for students. Generally tickets will cost anywhere between $60 to $65 depending on entry time, but the museum has had tickets on sale for $36 to $39. Its recommended to buy tickets online in advance to secure your preferred time and date, but tickets are also sold on site.
Visiting The Red Light District: Minimum Age
There is no minimum age to visit the Red Light Area. It is, after all, a residential neighborhood that is home to some 9.000 people.
Youll also find a wide variety of businesses from art galleries to restaurants, and from cafés and coffee houses to supermarkets. There even is a daycare center across from the Old Church and right next door to window brothels.

Is The Museum Wheelchair Accessible
No, unfortunately not. Red Light Secrets is located in a monumental canal house, which leaves very little room for adaptations to the building. So, there are some small hallways and stairs. Visitors who are able to move around without a wheelchair, can leave the wheelchair at the entrance. There are plenty of opportunities to sit down throughout the museum.

Not Appropriate Viewing Without Parents: Moore
Heritage Minister James Moore said during question period Thursday that he was invited to view the exhibit and expressed his concerns.
“I respect the independence of the museum, but they asked me my opinion, and in my opinion it’s not appropriate for young underage children to be exposed to sexually explicit material without the consent of their parents,” said Moore.
“I’ve made my views known, it’s up to the museum to decide now where they go,” said Moore.
Moore’s spokesman, James Maunder, had earlier said the purpose of the Museum of Science and Technology is to foster scientific and technological literacy.
“It is clear this exhibit does not fit within that mandate,” Maunder told CBC News. “Its content cannot be defended, and is insulting to taxpayers.”
The age of admission has been raised to 16 from 12.

Tickets For Amsterdam Sex Museum
Before the pandemic it was possible to just queue at the door and enter on a whim. This is no longer possible so having a couple of beers for Dutch courage and then heading to the museum is not an option. Instead, like everywhere else, tickets need to be booked in advance for the Sex Museum in Amsterdam, although you are more likely to find tickets available nearer the time online here.
These tickets are based on time, with hourly slots that temporarily run from 10am through until 6pm at night . With restrictions in place, there are only allowed to be 100 visitors in the museum at any one time, so booking in advance is now essential. This does force you to plan ahead and perhaps if you are thinking of exploring the red light district one evening then booking your tickets for the sex museum for that day or night might make the most sense.
