Digital Projects Intern: Fall 2021

Public Sector – 2021 – The National Museum Of Racing Hall Of Fame

The Digital Projects Intern role is a researcher, storyteller, and project manager all in one. This role would be an apprenticeship under the Vice President, Marketing Communications. The project helps with the expansion and awareness of the Museum of the City of New Yorks brand and digital footprint by identifying, curating, and marketing our exhibitions and collections in digital applications that reach both our on-site visitors and digital community.

Nysca/ghhn Conservation Treatment Grant Program Awardees

The Bundy Museum of History & Art has received $7,500 for the conservation of a three-unity wooden folding screen with 3 inset canvas paintings work to be done by West Lake Conservators, LTD.

Greater Hudson Heritage Network is awarding $115,739 in conservation treatment grants to 22 organizations, located in 14 counties of New York State, in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts .

The Conservation Treatment Grant is a partnership of the New York State Council on the Arts and Greater Hudson Heritage Network , that provides support for treatment procedures by professional conservators to aid in stabilizing and preserving objects in collections of museums, historical, and cultural organizations in New York State. The Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation has provided additional dedicated support for conservation treatment projects on Long Island and New York City.

The Museum seeks an Assistant Manager, Institutional Giving to join the Institutional Giving team in managing a shared portfolio that includes large traditional foundations and family foundations, as well as city, state, and federal government agencies. This position reports to the Director, Institutional Giving and works with the Manager, Institutional Giving.

Building Capacity, Creating Sustainability, Growing Accessibility

The Bundy Museum of History & Art selected as a Museum Association of New York museum partner for Building Capacity, Creating Sustainability, Growing Accessibility.

The Museum Association of New York is thrilled to announce that 96 museums from across New York State have been selected to participate in Building Capacity, Creating Sustainability, Growing Accessibility, an IMLS CARES Act grant project designed to help museums impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic share their collections and reach audiences who cannot physically visit their museums.In this two-year program, museums will identify a program to virtually deliver to their audiences, focusing on developing programs from stories found in their collections that reveal cultural and racial diversity in their communities.

The Cazenovia Public Library, a member of the Mid York Library System, is recognized for its historic building housing a museum, an art gallery, local archives, and a collection of 61,775 physical items and 28,582 electronic items. The Library was a top finalist for âThe Best Small Library in Americaâ award in 2018.

We are an association library, providing services to over 9,000 residents of the Cazenovia School District.
