Ha llegado un nuevo museo a la ciudad ¡El Museo Slime! Sí chic@s la masa antiestrés que fue un furor en redes abrió un museo propio, nada más y nada menos que en uno de los barrios más exclusivos de la ciudad de Nueva York.
Esta masa, Slime, es toda una SENSACIÓN en el último tiempo ha conquistado miles de seguidores y aunque es un museo temporal, durará 6 meses, es una de las atracciones turísticas más divertidas que podrás visitar en la Gran Manzana.
El museo es un espacio totalmente interactivo, lleva por nombre Instituto Sloomo, que sea 100% interactivo lo convierte en un lugar genial ya que imagínate la cantidad de cosas que podrás hacer con esta masita que ha dado mucho de qué hablar. Ahora, imagínate una piscina de Slime, pues bueno esta será una de las atracciones del museo, así como una cascada de masa Slime que caerá sobre tu cuerpo.

Museo Slime de Nueva York no es cualquier cosa, al contrario, quiere mostrar que es un proyecto bastante serio y por ha dedicado un espacio de 750 metros cuadrados para esta masa. New Nyc Attraction Is A Slime Museum With $38 Tickets
So you think you want to take the kids somewhere, but think when they hear the word museum that they will immediately tune out? How about a SLIME museum?
Yep, there is a museum in New York City that just opened that is all about slime. Its called, The SLOOMOO Institute and is located at 475 Broadway between Broome and Grand Streets. Its hours are 10 AM to 10 PM daily.
Here is the description of what you can expect for your $38 ticket price, from their website:
The slime from your childhood, reinvented.Art. Experiment. Play. Slime! Sloomoo Institute fuels joy, stress relief, and imagination with over 30 vats of slime, a lake of slime to walk on, a massive DIY slime bar, slime experiments, an immersive ASMR tunnel and more. A free custom 8 oz. slime comes with every ticket! $1.50 from each ticket benefits three mental health charities equally.
The museum is requiring a ticket for each individual. There are limitations for kids under the age of 5, ie they are only allowed in the museum between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM. Looking at the feedback posted from parents on the site, a few are not happy about paying $38 for everyone in attendance.

One of the biggest internet trends that has taken over almost every social media platform is slime. NEW YORK Slime, the bedazzled, stretchy sensation that has spawned its own social media influencers and fans of all ages, is taking up residence in New York City.
An immersive, 8,000-square-foot museum dedicated to all things slime opened Friday for a nearly six-month celebration complete with a sticky barefoot lake walk and DIY bar. There also is the opportunity to don goggles and a poncho and get doused in the stuff that has a big following but a questionable impact when it comes to disposal and the environment.
The brainchild of Karen Robinovitz, Sara Schiller and Toni Ko, the so-called Sloomoo Institute is the latest in Instagram-friendly pop-ups to hit New York and then travel to other locales.
The idea, the co-founders said during a pre-opening tour, is simple: To spread slimes powers of rejuvenation and relaxation. Skeptical? Theres a nook with an EEG machine to actually show your brain on slime.
The substance has found quite the community online and off. There are slime conventions, online shops and meet-and-greets with top influencers that draw thousands of fans at a time.
Nichole Jackylne, 23, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a top slimer enlisted by Sloomoo. She has been on YouTube since 2013, taking on fashion and other content before she settled on slime nearly three years ago.
Hand wipes are liberally distributed throughout Sloomoo, with the plea that people use them before and after touching the huge bowls of slime placed along a walking route.

But things changed when a friend’s daughter introduced her to slime.

“I became inspired again and wanted to bring what I was feeling to the world,” Robinovitz added.

Nichole Jackylne, 23, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a top slimer enlisted by Sloomoo. She’s been on YouTube since 2013, taking on fashion and other content before she settled on slime nearly three years ago.
Jackylne brings in between $5,000 and $10,000 a month from merchandise and slime-making supplies she sells online. That doesn’t take into account her YouTube ad income and partnerships. She has nearly a million followers on YouTube.
“I consider myself more of a slime lifestyle personality,” Jackylne said. “I don’t just post slime. I try to keep it about my personality, so I’ll film blogs of myself shopping for slime supplies or just out in the public making slime content.”
Not exclusively solid or liquid, slime is often made to the bane of germophobes and neatnik parents by mixing the mineral-based cleaning product Borax, glue and water, along with liquid scents, coloring and “toppings” that are all the rage, including tiny toys and plastic-based glitter. Some variations are made with clay.
The varieties and scents are endless. Noting glitter and other potential eco-foes were deliberately left out of Sloomoo’s slime, Robinovitz showed off varieties that pull like weightless clouds , crackle because of plastic beads inside or shine with a high gloss and a tough pull.
At the DIY bar, where 8 ounces of slime is included in the $38 base ticket price, scents include banana cream pie, Froot Loops and prickly pear. The get-slimed experience is $30 extra.
