We found it very discouraging, when it turned out that we cannot leave our suitcase at the Met coat-check. When my husband was standing outside, not allowed inside with the luggage, I luckily got a help from a nice woman at the information desk, who advice us Midtown Luggage Storage service located at 117 East 41st Street in Manhattan. It is very close to Grand Central which is very convenient. Still I cannot understand why the Met is able to inspect bags of millions visitors and refuses to examine their suitcases, which – I beg – would happen only occasionaly like with us.
