Museum Of Ice Cream Nyc
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice creamand the Museum of Ice Cream NYC.
Yup, its one of those super interactive museums in NYC that is basically every Instagrammers idea of total, next-level paradise since there are photo ops aplenty here.
More than that though, this wonderfully pink museum in SOHO enthusiastically welcomes you into the whimsical world of ice cream with a series of vibrant, interactive displays that feature ice cream cones, spinkles, and basically anything else related to the dessert-y goodness that is ice cream.
Is it small? Kind of. Is it culturally enriching? Probably not. But its one of those cool museums in NYC that the kids will love and that will provide you with ample photo ops for your Insta feed.
And, added bonus? Theres a freakin three-story slide inside, a hall of giant scoops, a floating table of desserts , a Queen Beehive, a sprinkle pool, and an MTA-like Celestial Subway.

If you want to learn about the history and development of New York City, then the Ellis Island Museum of Immigration is a must-see. Why Visit The Brooklyn Museum
I loved the experience because with this ticket I had access to the museum’s permanent collection, which includes art from all corners of the world from ancient Egypt to the present day and the free guided tour.
One of my favorite exhibits was the Spanish colonial and Native American art although its collection of African, Pacific Islander or Islamic art also deserves a special mention because it is simply spectacular as is the American art collection with works by Edward Hopper, Norman Rockwell or Winslow Homer.

National Museum Of The American Indian
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian is home to over a million works and documents concerning Native American peoples and their customs. Much of the collection, most of which is in storage at any given time, was acquired by George Gustav Heye. The museum is housed in the neoclassical Alexander Hamilton Customs House. Exhibits change frequently.
The museum also hosts numerous public programs including music and dance performances, films, and symposia. It works closely with Native Peoples to preserve and protect their cultures traditions and expressions.

Located in Battery Park City, this museum honors the victims of the Holocaust by examining Jewish traditions, achievements, and faith.
Their exhibitions are highly enlightening.
Admission is free on Thursdays between 4 pm-8 pm. Also, this museum is included for free with most tourist discount passes.
225 Madison Avenue at 36th Street
This library consists of J.Pierpont Morgans exquisite collection of rare books and manuscripts, drawings, and artifacts.
It is housed in one of the finest examples of Neoclassical buildings in America.

Sometimes Im hesitant to mention visiting the 9/11 Museum because its such an emotional experience . However, it truly is one of the best museums in New York City and definitely worth the visit, as long as you can emotionally brace yourself.
Located right next to the moving 9/11 memorial, this New York City museum is thoughtfully made. Youll need to descend down an escalator to reach the interior because its located beneath ground level.
The museums layout is clean and easy to follow, your focus instantly latches on to the intended exhibit. The pace of the visit always feels rightfully slow, as visitors contemplate the gravity of the situation.
This musuem experience is heartbreaking but important, I think everyone should see the 9/11 Museum as least once. Its something you wont be able to forget.

You do not need to purchase tickets to visit the National Immigration Museum on Ellis Island, but you will need to purchase ferry tickets through Statue Cruises. This is the only merchant that sells ferry tickets so do not purchase them from any other vendor.
