The Northeast Texas Childrens Museum provides opportunities for a creative learning experience with over 35 hands on indoor and outdoor exhibits and planned activities. The Northeast Texas Childrens Museum welcomes school Field Trips during the school year . Depending on the grade and number of children, two to four five-minute science-based lessons or shows are taught before students play in a section of the museum. Students will rotate through the museum, allowing them to play in each section after the lesson.

The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum is a great place for kids to learn while playing. Since opening its doors in 2002, the Childrens Museum has served numerous children from the state and beyond, providing a creative and enriching learning experience. The Children’s Museum provides opportunities for a playful and creative learning experience with its hands-on exhibits. Exhibits and programs are ideal for children ages 2 to 10, but children of all ages are welcome. Exhibits include a bubble room, grocery store, bank, vet clinic, hospital, pizza eatery, hand-propelled riding train, and several smaller exhibits like Legos and Lincoln Logs. The Great Outdoor Discovery Area has a brand new ship, SS Good Neighbor, and Sullivan River, a dry riverbed with sharks teeth!
