- Masks are to be worn at all times. The only exceptions are when eating ice cream or taking a photograph.
The mask requirement is weird because there are several times you are given ice cream or popsicles that are consumed all while youre wondering through the exhibits. And photos? The museum was built on Instagram photos. Not a ton of mask wearing happening, friends.

Whats In The Museum Of Ice Cream Chicago
Guests will learn about Doves history and different genres of ice cream across the globe. You also get to play mini golf in a room with pink walls and dessert decorations, as well as basketball and water gun games in the carnival room.

We couldnt wait to get out of the Museum of Ice Cream. There were just too many people, it felt sort of dirty, the lines backed up and didnt flow well from room to room, and it was hot and stuffy. My teenage daughter liked the photo spots but overall was underwhelmed by the experience.

Where Ice Cream Museum Is Located In New York
The Ice Cream Museum is located at 558 Broadway New York, NY 10012. The nearest public transportation station is the East Broadway subway stop on the F train.
Its easy to get to there are a bunch of ways for you to arrive at the Ice Cream Museum. We recommend taking the 4, 5, or 6 trains that run through Spring Street station. Alternatively, you can take the N, Q, or R trains to Prince Street station which is just across the street from our amazing establishment.
Bus Route M1, M55, SIM1, SIM1C can drop you at Broadway/W Houston Street, which is about 5 minutes walk from the Ice Cream Museum.
There are many parking garages available near the Ice Cream Museum.

What About Pandemic Safety
Everyone is encouraged to mask regardless of vaccination status. According to Museum of Ice Cream, its staff members are regularly tested for COVID-19, and when I was there, everyone wore a face covering including pretty much every guest I saw. There are masks at the front in case you forget yours. The museum also says that staff members regularly disinfect touch points. Though, those sprinkles in that pool are probably not getting individual spit shines after every swim.

If you consider yourself super-cautious about your leisure activities and being around other people in the pandemic, especially as Austin remains in Stage 5 risk-based guidelines, heres the real talk: Museum of Ice Cream might not be the most comfortable experience for you. Its pretty much entirely indoors, and the spaces can get a little tight. When I went, it was also pretty warm and stuffy inside.

When Do I Have To Be There
Please arrive on time. Remember that your ticket is only suitable for the date and time you bought it. The museum will give you a 10-minute grace period after your 30-minute reservation. You can change your reservation at least 24 hours before you arrive, but you can’t change it the day of or after because we have a set number of seats and can’t fill your spot if you don’t show up.

Museum Of Ice Cream Nyc Hours
Located in New York, the Ice Cream Museum is open daily, except Tuesdays. This charming ice cream shop re-creates the history of ice cream and invites enthusiasts to sample different types of this cool food for a small fee. The shop also offers free tours on weekends for groups of eight or more.
The Ice Cream Museum is open 10am 5:30pm from Wednesday to Monday. They remain closed on Tuesdays.
After the day visits end, it reopens at 6:30 PM for its second act, this time with a completely different selection of ice sculptures by leading local and international artists.
This is also where we recommend our more adventurous visitors to come, although we ask that those 16 years and older for our night visit.
Night at the Museum is open different hours depending on the day of the week, and it is closed on certain holidays. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, its open from 7:30 to 7:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, its open from 8 to 8:30 pm and on Sundays, its open from 8 to 8:00 pm.
This place is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
