There are a lot of bad hotel reviews for near the Creation Museum. Is there a good recommendation for a hotel near there. We are traveling with four children, ages 16, 13, 9 and one, and Grandma. We will need two rooms.

I have stayed in The Country Inn and Suites, which is listed as being in Hebron, it is clean and would be reasonable choice. At the same exit there is a Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn, the only downside with this exit there are no eating choices, you would have to drive to another exit for restaurants. I think they offer museum packages.
Comfort or Hampton Inn at the same exit are some other choices. If you dont mind driving a few extra miles check out Wingate in Erlanger, new hotel and very nice. I have also stayed at La Quinta and Springhill Suites in Florence which are closest to restaurants. Of those I mentioned, they sometimes have very good rates on expedia. They are nonrefundable so you must be sure of your dates and decision. I would not hesitate staying at any of the ones I mentioned.

The Creation Museum Is A Great Place To Learn About Kentucky History
The Creation Museum is a fantastic place to begin your visit to Kentucky. More information about the Bible and Kentucky history can be found here, as can exhibits on the great flood. If you have extra time, you can also visit the Ark Encounter, which is a replica of Noahs Ark from whence he and his family sailed. The Ark Encounter is open nine days a week, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $54.95 for adults , $44.95 for seniors , and $24.95 for children .

Creation Museum Botanical Gardens And Outdoor Activities
On our previous visit to the Creation Museum, my husband and I were not able to experience the gardens due to rain, and I have to say this was one of my favorite parts of our recent visit!
We loved walking through the intricately landscaped gardens. The healthy and lush plants and waterfalls made us feel we had stepped into the Garden of Eden, and the paved trails are super nice for walking! The swinging bridge was a real hit with the entire family.
Before we left, we took a quick walk through the Eden Animal Experience, and our favorite animal was the wallaby. He was resting and wasnt much interested in socializing, but it was fun to see him! The Childrens Adventure Area also hosts a playground, but since we were planning to visit The Ark Encounter the next day, we headed on out!
Gods amazing handiwork is on full display at the Creation Museum, and my family cant wait to go back!
Its the perfect biblically-based science venue where families will strengthen their faith as they learn more about their awesome Creator and His wonderful world.

The Ark Encounter: A Great Place To Visit
You will need at least 3-4 hours to make it through the ark encounter. A snack bar is located in the lower level, and there is a restaurant outside. If you are going to the creation museum in the future, you should buy the two-day admission ticket. After traveling to Ark, Im sure youll agree that it was well worth it. There is no need to leave a trace of something out. The bus took you from the parking lot to the Ark in a short ride, and bus drivers were knowledgeable during the ride. The Ark Encounter is an excellent place to visit if you want to get up close and personal with the massive ark. Summer is the best season to visit because it is the busiest time of year and there are more attractions outside the Ark, such as the zipline and playground, as well as the zoo. In addition, visiting during the fall, winter, and spring is a great way to escape the crowds.

Tickets Parking Planetarium Shows Schedule
Tickets arent exactly cheap especially to the Ark. There arent any ways to get stellar deals. Just buy the combo ticket and enjoy your trip.
At the Creation Museum you have the opportunity to buy tickets to two different Planetarium shows . We talked to the gentleman at the ticket counter and he recommended that we not buy tickets this trip. The material would be way over the kids heads. We decided to listen to his advice and it worked out well. On a trip when the kids are older wed maybe get them. If you decide to purchase Planetarium ticket purchase when you first arrive or risk them being sold out!
When you purchase a ticket for The Creation Museum it is a two day ticket.
This is how we planned our visits:
- Day 1: Creation Museum
- Day 2: Ark Encounter
- Day 3: Creation Museum at opening for a few hours
We were very happy with that decision and would do it again that way. I also heard from other people that planned their visit in that order and liked it as well.
Both places were less busy after lunch. The majority of the tour buses seemed to arrive at opening and left early afternoon.
You will have to pay for parking at both parks.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this B& B. Nancy was so sweet and accommodating to my husband and I along with our children. We stayed in the Graves Room which was very roomy, clean and cozy. Nancys breakfasts were delicious along with the cookies she baked daily and put in our room. The inn is in the historic part of the city, which was so nice for us. Being from South Florida, we dont get to see too much countryside and this was such a treat for us. This was the first time my children were in a B& B and dont want to ever go back to a hotel! Thanks again Nancy for such a wonderful experience. We will be back!

The Arkansas Museum of Natural History is a fantastic place to visit for a day. You can see all of the activities going on here, as well as any upcoming talks.
