Free Admission To Ct Museums For Kids This Summer

The state of Connecticut is launching the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program. It offers FREE admission to kids at more than 90 museums across Connecticut during the 2021 summer months.

From July 1 to September 6, 2021, all Connecticut children age 18 and under with one accompanying adult will receive free admission to any of the participating museums, including historic house museums, historic sites, historical societies, art museums, childrens museums, science centers, special-interest museums, natural history museums, university museums, arboretums/botanical gardens, and zoos.

According to Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, Connecticut Summer at the Museum is made possible through an investment from the federal COVID-19 recovery funding Connecticut is receiving from the American Rescue Plan Act. The program is administered by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Developments Office of the Arts in partnership with Connecticut Humanities.
