Tent Camping Near The Creation Museum In Kentucky

Ark Encounter – Creation Museum – Northern Kentucky RV Park – SSAS4E9

Set up your tent at one of several grassy campsites near the Creation Museum.

The Creation Museum brings the stories and characters of the Bible to life through a vast array of hands-on exhibits and activities. From star-gazing at a planetarium to a vast insect collection, camel rides, gardens and informative classes, you’ll want to spend more than one day just to take it all in. What Felt Disastrous Became A Blessing

I was so excited about our plans to visit The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky. The replica of the Ark built by the Biblical instructions was described as one of the most amazing things you will ever see. I decided that it was a must-see on our way from Florida to South Dakota. The reason for the South

How Did Noah Build The Ark

The Ark would have been designed for strength, comfort, and stability. Generations before Noah we read in the Bible that people were working with bronze and iron. We dont know what kind of technology Noah had available. Noah could have used metal, machinery, planking, and wooden nails in addition to the pitch and gopher wood materials we read about in the Bible.

God Brings A Flood On The World

Book, Wine and Time: Ark Encounter

God shut the Arks door and unleashed the Flood upon the earth. The waters rose until they covered the highest mountains of the pre-Flood world. All of the people and land-dwelling, air-breathing animals that werent aboard Noahs Ark died. Thats why we find so many fossils all over the world today.

The Best Of Both Worlds

Ten miles east of the Creation Museum, River Ridge Park has more than a dozen tent sites tucked away in the trees away from the RV sites. Although the sites are primitive, a short walk to the center of the campground brings you to hot showers, flush restrooms, a laundromat and swimming pool. Play a game of basketball or horseshoes, let the kids burn off energy at the playground or relax at the community center. Pets are welcome as long as you keep them leashed and pick up after them.

Nice Rv Park Central Location To Ark Encounter And Creation Museum

We were thankful that a site was available, as we had made last minute plans to go to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum over Labor Day weekend. We arrived late on Thursday, August 29 and stayed until Monday, September 2. When we were still four hours away on Thursday night, we received a phone call to let us know where the map and night box was located. She also told us to have a safe trip the rest of the way and that the office would be closing at 7 pm . We thought that was very kind. Once we arrived, we set up without any problems and got a good night’s rest, in spite of the train close by. I, personally, did not use the bathhouse, but the others in my party did. They reported it was very clean. The grounds were clean and picked up and the grass had recently been mowed. We would stay here again, as it was very convenient between the two attractions we went to . Very pleased with our stay.More

I wanted to Thank the woman who greeted us after we drove around your lot around 1:30 pm.You informed us you don’t allow drive thru after you pointed out your sign, which should be on the Right side because that’s where you look for at the office. We were going to settle but after a non welcoming attitude and you stated you are booked for weeks. Just Hateful. So I’m grateful we found a warm welcome at Oak Creek Campground, our site is Beautiful.

I’ve stayed at nearly 100 campgrounds across America, guess I expected more for the money. It’s small and located down a relatively short one lane road. Firewood was quite expensive. Not a campground I would recommend.

A Night At The Museum

Camp in a grassy field next to the museum’s botanical gardens at the annual family fishing and camping weekend in June. The two-day, one-night event provides after-hours opportunities to fish in the museum’s 3-acre lake, interact with the petting zoo animals and engage in social activities such as volleyball and sing-alongs. Bring your own fishing equipment, tent, food and water. The Creation Museum provides restrooms and showers. The weekend ends with a devotional service on Sunday morning.
