The Devils Rocking Chair

A chair linked to a famous investigation by Ed and Lorraine Warren and an item that is set to be one of discussion in the upcoming Conjuring 3 movie.

The rocking chair was the site of the exorcism of David Glatzel, a boy said to have been possessed by a demon.

Ed and Lorraine Warren performed an exorcism on the boy but it is said that the demon left the boys body and entered that of another person in the room.

That person was Arne Cheyenne Johnson, a man who later stabbed and killed his landlord.

In court, for the first time in history, demonic possession was used as a motive in a court of law.

The Devil in Connecticut case was a very well known court hearing and spawned many a TV show and movie.

Charles Mansons Cremated Ashes

When Charles Manson died and his body cremated some of his followers actually took fragments of his ashes to keep as a memento.

This lead to such creations as the Ryan Almighty Blood Paintings of Manson in which the eyes were filled in with Charles Mansons own cremains.

Painted in Ryans own blood the artistry has to be appreciated but the morbidness of the painting with the cremated ashes included makes for a unique piece indeed.

This very painting is on display at the museum along with other Charles Manson murderabilia including a prison worn outfit, Mansons own TV and even more ashes in a display case along with Mansons dentures.

About Zak Bagan’s The Haunted Museum

Zak Bagans developed a profound interest in the paranormal when he was just 10 years old, scouring nearby garage sales with his mom in search of odd and spooky collectibles.

His fascination with the unusual evolved into a life-long pursuit for answers about the afterlife, not merely through the study of earth-bound energy, but also through years of science-based research using a multitude of specially engineered equipment to measure fluctuations in the environment more specifically, to communicate with the dead.

Now a pioneer in the paranormal field, Bagans is giving everyone a chance to experience the spine-chilling vibe of the spirit world at the new Zak Bagans The Haunted Museum located in downtown Las Vegas.

The 11,000-square foot property built in 1938 was originally owned by prominent businessman Cyril S. Through the years, hostile spirits family members who passed away there and whose energy remains have been rumored to roam the halls terrorizing past occupants. Some long-time Las Vegans even claim dark rituals took place in the homes basement during the 1970s.

Among the hundreds of terrifying possessions, museum-goers can even peek inside the VW death van in which Dr. Jack Kevorkian ended the suffering of terminally ill patients as well as get a close-up look at the Propofol chair from Michael Jacksons death room.

Zak Bagans

Presently, Zak is a leading personality in the paranormal sector, and it is this experience that he uses to usher visitors into the spirit world at the museum. The property where the museum is located was initially owned by a businessman, but in the years that followed, it was haunted by spirits who roamed its rooms. In fact, it is thought that dark rituals were carried out at the property in the 70s. Perhaps it is these restless spirits that give the Haunted Museum a sense of adventure.

A tour of the museum typically begins with walking down the eerie hallways and exploring the secret tunnels that lead to more than two dozen rooms. The rooms and passages are so spooky that they appear to be lifted straight off the set of a horror movie.

The museum is also home to the Dybbuk Box, which is believed to be the most haunted item in the world. Look out for the antique wine cabinet at the museum, which, if you are keen, may realize was the inspiration behind the supernatural horror film, The Possession.

Other thrilling attractions to look out for at the museum include the VW death van in which a doctor ended the lives of his terminally ill patients, the original stairway from Demon House, as well as the Propofol Chair that was obtained from the room in which Michael Jackson died.

On September 15, Walter Magnuson, General Manager of Winchester Mystery House, received a sneak preview of Zak Bagans The Haunted Museum, set to open on Monday, October 2, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The occasion was to not only get an early look at an incredible new Las Vegas destination but also to see the area specifically dedicated to the legend and lore of the Winchester Mystery House.

We donated quite a collection of wax heads from our former wax museum, plus other artifacts from the house, states Magnuson. The display is unnerving and fits perfectly within the impressive collection of paranormal related items Zak has acquired from around the world.

Bagans is no stranger to the Winchester Mystery House where he has filmed two episodes of his highly popular Travel Channel show, Ghost Adventures. Zak has been a good friend and supporter of the Winchester Mystery House and were very happy and proud to have contributed to this terrific new addition to the line-up of wonderful Las Vegas attractions, adds Magnuson.

The museum has been painstakingly created within 30 rooms of the historic Wengert mansion in Las Vegas. It is filled with such disturbing items as Dr. Jack Kevorkians Death Van, the Propofol Chair from the room where Michael Jackson died and many other paranormal and allegedly possessed items. Guests under 16 years old arent allowed inside The Haunted Museum and all entrants must sign a waiver stating they understand the risks before entering.

How To Visit Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum Seen On ‘ghost Adventures’ With Quarantine Restrictions

Ghost Adventures fans are about to get an unprecedented peek into Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum on the Travel Channel special Ghost Adventure: Quarantine. Chances are it will inspire some trips to Las Vegas to see the spooky exhibits in real life. And there’s good news for them: This is now possible even in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Haunted Museum is reopening Friday after COVID-19 restrictions and will resume bringing limited groups of visitors through its haunted halls.

Bagans is the host of Ghost Adventures, who bought the spooky property to showcase his own collection of haunted objects. The museum features a doll room, some remnants of Bagans’ Demon House, which was demolished after filming Demon House, his 2018 documentary, Charles Manson’s belongings, and even the Kevorkian van, which housed a series of assisted suicides of terminally ill patients in the ’90s.

The museum has a history of affecting visitors, so much so that some have fainted on the premise. Bagans and the Ghost Adventures crew have touched on investigations in the museum, like in their 2018 Halloween special, but Ghost Adventures: Quarantine, will open a whole new conversation. Bagans claims to have touched the Dybbuk Box during the four-part lockdown, which has the potential to curse him and amplify dark spirits within the museum.
