And so it only made sense that Watermill New Yorks beloved Parrish Museum make an appearance too. On Tuesday night, Parrish Museum Next Council member Lary Milstein welcomed guests to the Miami Beach Edition for a cocktail party in the all-white hotel lobby.
Our goal with the Parrish Next council is to build a network of young creatives, collectors, artists, and supporters that exist outside the four walls of the museum, said Milstein amongst his friendsCynthia Rowley, Kit Keenan, Timo Weiland, and more. This event marks a first step to activate and grow a next-gen community in key contemporary art hubs across the country.

Since 2009, collectors Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz have operated a private museum that showcases new selections from their holdings each year. The current outing takes its name from Gabriel Orozcos sculpture Four Bicycles , which is on view alongside works by the likes of Tauba Auerbach, Hernan Bas, Wifredo Lam, Glenn Ligon, Christina Quarles, Sterling Ruby, Vaughn Spann, Reena Spaulings, and Christopher Wool.
The de la Cruz collection is located at 23 NE 41st Street in the Miami Design District. Admission is free.
