Peacemaker Lobster & Crab

Tim’s Travels: Exploring the Saint Louis Zoo

Since my mom is from the East Coast, I grew up doing lobster races in the kitchen of my grandmas home. So trust me when I say the seafood at Peacemaker is amazing, and it feels like being transported to the salty coast of New England. With lobster rolls, both Connecticut- and Maine-style, and oysters freshly shucked, its a great taste of what were usually missing in the Midwest. Dont cash out before trying the Bourbon Punch slushie.

Charlie Gittos On The Hill

The Hill is an established Italian-American neighborhood in St. Louis, and its home to some of the best restaurants in the entire city. While in the neighborhood, I also recommend making a stop at Missouri Baking Company for insanely tasty pastries, from Napoleons to mind-blowing cannoli.

Buy The Expensive Cup For Drinks

Hampton Inn & Suites St Louis/Sout

Buy the expensive cup for drinks. Buy the upgrade pass for train and shows. The cups are an upcharge of about $5, but they are the ONLY CUPS IN THE PARK that you can take anywhere and do everything with. While the staff where certainly friendly and personable, I would have preferred to simply have my ignorance pointed out, upsold, and not have to pour out my $8 soda, 10 minutes after buying it. Seriously?

We Went 20 Min Before Park Opened And Parked On Street For

We went 20 min before park opened and parked on street for free parking. We started at the back of the park and worked out way up. Its beautifully shaded. Even though it was 97 degree it was barable due to shade. We loved it. Lots of unique animals and species. We bought the adventure passes online beforehand. Good value. Well worth it. Loved our experience. Zoo entry is free. Which is amazing for families traveling.
