The USC Fisher Museum of Art owns some really cool stuff, including Armand Hammer’s earlier collection of Dutch, Flemish, German and Italian master that he donated to USC before starting a whole other collection that he then gave to UCLA. About The La County Museum Of Art

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art has its origins in the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science, and Art, which was founded in Exposition Park in 1910.

In 1961 it was split out to become a distinct art museum, with a new building being designed by architect Richard Meier. It opened to the public on February 26, 1965, and two years later it was renamed the Los Angeles County Museum of Art or LACMA for short.
