Beautiful Inn Located Near Ark Encounter And Creation Museum

My mother and I along with a friend traveled to visit the Ark and Museum. We wanted something more than a bland hotel room and we very pleased to discover the Riverside Inn. The photos on the website are accurate, the Inn is elegant, historic and with a scenic view of the Ohio river. After viewing all the rooms, all are beautiful, spacious and all but one are on the second floor. Two staircases and an elevator provide access. We had warm sunny weather and enjoyed the gazebo, swings and eating a picnic at the comfortable tables. Indoors we enjoyed playing the grand piano and billiards during the evenings. We appreciated access to the sizable guest refrigerator located near Magnolia and Tulip.The Innkeeper, Nancy, warmly welcomed us and showed us around the mansion. She is delightful, engaging and just the right mix of attentive yet not hovering. She made the beautiful house feel like a beloved home-away-from-home during our two night stay. We enjoyed our conversations with Nancy, and she added immeasurably to the pleasure of staying at the Inn. This was her first experience of staying at bed and breakfast for our friend and she loved it so much she said she will look for BnB/Inns in the future.More

Such a beautiful cabin. Will definitely will come back again. Luckily we had great weather. We did get a workout walking up & down the steps from cabin to the pier. GPS took us to the wrong place. We knew we were looking for a gate, though, so we found it at the end of the road. We never saw the property address, so arrive during daylight hours. Just an FYIâ¦.this is a cabin on what SEEMS to be a private lakeâ¦â¦. parking is steep to get to and narrow, lighted steps lead to cabin⦠no wheelchair accessâ¦.. We were not needing that type access but wanted to mention it in case someone needed to know. We had a nice, relaxing, and quiet time which is what we were wanting. Owner was great to work with and promptly answered what questions we had. Nice place for kids if you go in summer. .

Family Friendly Hotel To Stay At Near The Creation Museum

There are a lot of bad hotel reviews for near the Creation Museum. Is there a good recommendation for a hotel near there. We are traveling with four children, ages 16, 13, 9 and one, and Grandma. We will need two rooms.

I have stayed in The Country Inn and Suites, which is listed as being in Hebron, it is clean and would be reasonable choice. At the same exit there is a Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn, the only downside with this exit there are no eating choices, you would have to drive to another exit for restaurants. I think they offer museum packages.

Comfort or Hampton Inn at the same exit are some other choices. If you don’t mind driving a few extra miles check out Wingate in Erlanger, new hotel and very nice. I have also stayed at La Quinta and Springhill Suites in Florence which are closest to restaurants. Of those I mentioned, they sometimes have very good rates on expedia. They are nonrefundable so you must be sure of your dates and decision. I would not hesitate staying at any of the ones I mentioned.

Charming & Super Family Friendly

Josh & Amy were readily available if I had questions. The place was beautiful on the inside with all the modern amenities. We loved staying here!A heads up if you get in late- its a very dark long road and its easy to drive by the house. Id recommend trying to get in before it gets dark out if possible. But Id recommend this place to anyone! We loved it!
